My Story
Pursued by grace. Transformed by hope.
I first encountered Jesus as an eight-year-old growing up in Caracas, Venezuela. My family had been invited to a small church started by American missionaries, and it was there that I experienced the love of Jesus for the first time. I grew up loving the church, learning about God, and eventually making the decision to be baptized.
But as I entered my teenage years, financial struggles and painful circumstances at home began to shake my faith. I slowly walked away from Jesus, convinced that I could build a better life on my own. Then, in December 1999, while facing the death of my uncle and witnessing a national tragedy unfold in Venezuela, God got my attention. In a moment I'll never forget, I sensed Him speaking to my heart: “What you can do is temporary. What I can do is eternal.” That day, I surrendered my life to Jesus again, and nothing has been the same since.
